What Is This?
Should I Take This Bonus? is a free calculator that helps UK casino players evaluate bonus offers using expected value (EV) analysis. Instead of guessing whether a bonus is worth taking, you can see the maths instantly.
How It Works
Every casino game has a built-in house edge — the mathematical advantage the casino holds. When you receive a bonus with wagering requirements, you must bet the bonus amount multiple times before withdrawing. During that wagering, the house edge chips away at your bonus.
Our calculator computes the expected value: how much of the bonus you can statistically expect to keep after meeting the wagering requirements. A positive EV means the bonus is worth considering. A negative EV means you’re likely to lose more than you gain.
Why We Built It
The UKGC’s 2026 regulations capped wagering requirements at 10x, making bonuses significantly better value than before. We wanted to give players a simple, transparent tool to compare offers and make informed decisions — no sign-up required.
